I'm no expert but I think that size drive would require external power source. I don't think that little 3040 can supply enough power for that drive. And and least for me yours is the first version 2.4 I have seen on this board. Someone here will be able to help you i'm sure. In any event I'm very interested in seeing how you fair with this new unit. Good luck and keep us posted.
