Re: Redirection Issue + More

UPDATE

Certainly interesting. I changed my "ipaddr" to 192.168.1.1. Now I can't SSH into my PirateBox because my home router is the same IP. When I put my MR3020 into failsafe mode, I can't telnet into it. But, if the MR3020 is connected to my PC by ethernet I can SSH into it using its IP but I can't edit the network file because it treats it like a new file (As if there isn't a network file in /etc/config) The redirection issue is fixed, no Kareha, and I can't modify anything.

END UPDATE

Matthias,

When I made this thread, I was having the problem when the router was disconnected from my router and I was connected by its signal. I have never connected to it while it was wired into something. I can SSH when it's wired in no problem. I'm on it as I write this message. But, when I power off the router, disconnect it, then power it back on (No connection to router) then I connect with my laptop to the PirateBox network then its making, I won't get redirected.

This is my network file (vi /etc/config.network)

config interface 'lan'
        option ifname 'eth0'
        option type 'bridge'
        option proto 'static'
        option netmask '255.255.255.0'
        option gateway '192.168.1.1'
        list dns '192.168.1.1'
        list dns '8.8.8.8'
        option ipaddr '192.168.1.111'

Is something setup wrong?
