it seems your MR3020 is somehow odd.
if it claims itself as a "WR841N V9.0", there is maybe something wrong with it or a brand new version.
The firmware file is correct and working, I did a workshop with them (and MR3020) 3 weeks ago.
Can you try to find the version number on the package (a small sticker at the bottom)?
