Not sure where to go from here.

Hi all, so im pretty new to all of this. I started this project by picking up a MR3040 and using a old external harddrive that I had sitting around. Everything seemed to be going well. I uploaded version 2 of the software to the router through the web server. let it restart hooked up to the hard drive. Got in through putty and set password/time and all that. This is where im lost. I cant access the box from any of my devices, and in putty non of the post installation commands are working for me.

Could it be something didnt get fully installed? if so how do i go about reinstalling?

I didnt install the v1 of the software, only v2, not sure if that would trip me up...
