Sounds like what I just worked out - The password you change first -originally "root" - you change with the passwd command. This password words for ssh. The other password is accessed via the nano /opt/piratebox/www/borad/config.pl command. You must uncomment (remove #) and change this "ADMIN_PASS" to your own password also change the line under it: SECRET to a long random string of number/letters, etc
When you 1st log into PB, use [http://piratebox.lan/board/kareha.pl] This somhow initialized the application.
