Torrent tracker help

So, I have been following this guide: [www.edoput.it]

and I am on the step "root@piratebox:~# /etc/init.d/tracker enable"

and it returns:
root@piratebox:~# /etc/init.d/tracker enable
-ash: /etc/init.d/tracker: Permission denied
root@piratebox:~#

Why am I getting this error and what can I do to fix it?
