Hi Matthias,
I'm trying to re-create everything you did during the remote session on a new box. Changing /etc/resolv.conf to 8.8.8.8 and updating the firewall settings to ACCEPT everything fixed all of the problems I was having before.

The new problem I'm having is that when I run:

opkg install [offlineart.net]

It hangs on the following section:

Check for WAN Connection ..
PING google.com (173.194.45.34): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 173.194.45.34: seq=0 ttl=56 time=23.109 ms
64 bytes from 173.194.45.34: seq=1 ttl=56 time=24.010 ms
64 bytes from 173.194.45.34: seq=2 ttl=56 time=23.337 ms

--- google.com ping statistics ---
3 packets transmitted, 3 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 23.109/23.485/24.010 ms
Installing python from repository
Downloading [downloads.openwrt.org].

At this point the LAN connection seems to stop working (I get the same result testing on two laptops (mac/PC)).

I'm using the same connection setup as before:

my notebook -- wired --> PirateBox [wan] ---> Home-Router

The offlineart box almost works anyway, I can connect to OFFLINEART via wifi, but I get a "Server not found" error instead of displaying the files in www_alt/content

I've tried reinstalling everything but I get the same issue where it hangs on 'Installing python from repository'.

Any suggestions?
