Hi, Matthias. Thank you for taking the time to help me out. I am using Windows 10 to do this, which is why I am using Putty (as recommended in the guide). See below for my responses.

When you run Putty, it gives you a text box to enter Host Name (or IP address). This is followed by a text box for the port, which is automatically adjusted by selecting radio buttons below it for Raw, Telnet, Rlogin, SSH or Serial. You then click on the "Open" button to initiate the connection. It opens a terminal window and asks for your password without giving you an option to enter a username.

So, steps 2 and 3 worked (/opt/piratebox/bin/board-autoconf.sh and cp /opt/piratebox/src/openwrt.example.minidlna /mnt/ext/etc/config/minidlna) when I used the commands prior to using option 1 of the setup (setting password and starting ssh/disabling Telnet). However, I still do not have access to Piratebox (after setting up the password) using terminal because of the issue above (when I use Putty to try to access using SSH it asks for my password and tells Access denied). I will have to wipe it and set it up again to get the technical output since I can't terminal into it. I will work on this shortly and post in the next few days.
