I'm using an old laptop running Windows XP and I *think* the problem may be that when I turn on Internet Sharing Options (under Local Area Connections), I get this message:
"Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) cannot be enabled due to an IP address conflict on the twork. ICS requires the host be configured to use 192.168.0.1. Please ensure that no other client on the network is configued to use 192.168.0.1"
Unfortunately, when I tried to telenet into my device, I was getting my old borked setup and when I tried to reflash it again - that now failed because there is no longer : /dev/sda1 and so I can't mount the firmware.
I'm wondering if all my attempts and powering ups and downs have borked my device beyond recoginition!
