Re: problem after removing pirate box

you have some major issues in your configuration that causes to have a not working detached wifi network.

1. You mix up your homenetwork ip range with the ip range of the wifi network
1.1. you can't use 192.168.1.1 for your piratebox while
1.2. is you internet gateway
1.3. and the IP on the lan interface

and i can continue the list for a while.

There is already another user, who want to give it a try, but at some point it failed. I haven't been able to reproduce it in detail... but as far as I know OpenWRT and all the configuration, the things described in the following link, should lead you to a separated wifi network: [forum.daviddarts.com]
In this link, I described the following two things:

detach wifi from the bridged interface
reconfigure piratebox to listen on the correct interface only
use dhcp on ethernet port to get internet access
disable the nodns fix, nargren already mentioned.

Please digg into network-and IP configration in general and what you home configuration is. that is essential to do advanced configurations.
