Hi,
there is an accidential line break in the howto, which you find several topics about in forums. The correct command is:
And on top, if you change the IP of piratebox in the network config file, the hostname resolution of piratebox.lan is not correct (the changes of network-config file would be a result of a not complete finished installation with a reboot).
The version 1.0 will have a new tutorial with fixed howto AND and auto-isntaller containing the imageboard as default isntallation.
best wishes

At the second frame I get an error code, short: can't connect to [piratebox.lan]
Is your box still connected to your homenetwork while testing? If yes, this is the issue. The service providing ip addresses for clients (DHCP), does recognize your home-network DHCP server and stops serving IP adresses.Quote
But I realy want to know why the "piratebox.lan" dosn't work. I don't need it in the moment, but I want to learn. Perhaps I need it at a second OpenWRT Box. It's a very nice projekt.

Then you should disalbe the upload functionality in /opt/piratebox/conf/piratebox.conf that nobody knowing about your PirateBox can upload anything.Quote
I don't need the chat, filetransfer and the other stuff. I only need a simple html webpage and this page is "on air" now and ready.
