Hi,
no there is no limitation, but maybe a cleanup task, that will cause the issue.
During bootup all directories are searched for 0Byte files or files called tmp* for tidy them up. If you have alot files and/or a deep directory structure, that process will take VERY long.

Even during the first boot, every folder is served with the files needed for the directory-list design. That will take a while as well.

The clean-up part can be disabled, or better moved to a specific directory only. Because the files searched for are an result of unfinished uploads, point the entry "UPLOADFOLDER" in /opt/piratebox/conf/piratebox.conf to a different one (make sure it exists).

The distribution of the directory-list design is only done once, and should speed up after it was initially done.
