you can enable it, but you require additional software installed on the box.

As far as I con find it out now, you need to have installed additional modules. the best way maybe to install ImageMagick

But, you should some tests, because the Box don't have much power for converting the images. BTW: simply download and copy won't work easily... because you may have additional dependencies.
Ah, and btw you should use "-d ext" while installing , that the software is isntalled on the USB Stick... AND you maybe need additional steps... anyway. alot of testing.
