Piratebox not installing on MR3020

I've followed all the steps from the main tutorial except that my USB drive mounts to /mnt/sda5 instead of /mnt/USB. I flashed the firmware following the usual procedure but when I leave it there to install, I discovered that it gets stuck on the same LED sequence for more than 3 hours. When I stopped the process and plugged in the flash drive to my computer, I do not see a install.log file. I think there's something wrong with my flash drive. Is there anyway I can debug this? Does anyone have a solution?
