Okay here's my issue. I followed the instructions to a "T" but still don't have access to the MR3040. I do have access through telnet. I can access root and edit config stuff and I can see that it is broadcasting a wireless signal but when I try to connect that way I get nothing. My buddy tells me it sounds like to him when it is booting up that it's not accessing the install file on my Fat32 formatted USB. So I decided to test by typing this into telnet: cd /mnt/usb and I get this error: -ash: cd: can't cd to /mnt/usb
Any help would be great I think I've probably spent more time on this than any other living human :)
The first question that might be asked is to share my log file from the usb, well the funny thing is there is no log file on it.
Update: Okay I reflashed it back to original tp-link mr3040 setting and started over from scratch.
I downloaded fresh files and flash the box again. The same thing. I can't see the "Piratebox Sharefreely" network and I still have no log file when I pull my USB out and check it on my PC, but I can still access the box using telnet, no problem. Don't know if this makes a difference but I'm using a Patriot 32GB formatted to FAT32 using default allocation unit size. I tried the cd /mnt/usb again and recieved the same error.
