It seems you system partition is messed up. I recommend to do a reflash of the device.
To do so, please redownloadn the firmware-file corresponding to your device from stable.openwrt.piratebox.de/auto
and redownload the install.zip file.
Power off your device, take the USB stick to your computer and (re)place the files on it. Please remove the install.log - file too.
Then try to follow those instructions for to a reflash while the system is running in failsafe mode: [www.piratebox.cc]
