I don't understand, because your write "I can not connect to the device via ethernet " and then "I connected the cable to router, the LAN LED will be on".
so you connected to the router. Did you set a static IP address to your ethernet card. the IP sould be 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 ?

And what do you mean with "you try to install a new package"?
