I think this might be what you're looking for... assuming you're looking to revert to the TP-Link firmware.

It's the latest TP-Link MR3040 firmware (mr3040v2_en_3_17_1_up_boot(131121).bin) with the boot loader removed.

Reflashing is fairly straightforward (dependant upon how broken your router may be). If you've stuffed the install of PirateBox, but OpenWRT is fine, connect an ethernet cable, set your ip to 192.168.1.2, switch the MR3040 to WISP, power it on, ssh in to check it's working, copy the oem.bin file into /tmp using scp. Finally 'mtd -r write /tmp/oem.bin firmware'.
