No, the HDD should be formatted as FAT32 and should have a single partition.

Wareck, that is no good. I assume that is the reason why you have problems with your wifi. Maybe some tests killed the wifi configuration on the firmware. Maybe you can reset the wifi stuff by hand...

If you can unbrick it... it depends. You should try to get serial access, then you can see if the bootloader is intact. If it is, than you can try to reflash it with different ways. Matthias
