PirateBox does not work with URL, need to enter IP adress.

I started to use my piratebox in class with my pupils. I'm a history teacher, and sometimes, when I give them a work to do, I turn on my piratebox so that they can have access to documents to help them out. They use their smartphones to go on it. They really like it! The only problem, and I don't understand why, is that with their mobile phone, they have to manually write the Piratebox IP address: the browser won't automatically go to the interface. Anyway, thanks a lot, it's really of great help in class!
