Problems installing OpenWRT on TPLink MR3220 v2.0

Hello everybody, I'm having a bit of a problem and I'll try to explain as completely and clear as possible.

I'm trying to install OpenWRT on a TP-Link TL-MR3220 router. This is actually supported only by trunk branch.

OpenWRT firmware for MR3220

I handled to install OpenWRT on the router via webinterface. I can only telnet to the router in failsafe mode, but I can't change the root password. Also, when I used the command "mount_root", the answer was "mount_root: jffs2 is not ready - marker found". (It seems that this is a problem with these days trunk firmware)

I failed to install a system upgrade ( with this binary and the terminal upgrade process explained here. I noticed I couldn't get anything from the Internet (neither a ping to google.com). I connected the MR3220 (IP: 192.168.1.1) to my modem (which IP I changed to 192.168.1.0 just for this), and my laptop (IP:192.168.1.2) to the MR3220.
I'd have to add that when connecting directly my laptop to my modem (using IP: 192.168.1.0 for the modem) I couldn't connect to the Internet (using Xubuntu 12.04), even changing my eth0 parameters and rebooting. If the modem's IP was 192.168.1.1, there was no problem. Also, if I connected the modem (IP: 192.168.1.0) to a Windows computer, I could also connect to the Internet (and configure back the modem's IP, before I got killed by my family :P )

So, my question is, does anybody got an idea on how I could get OpenWRT running? Maybe trying another system upgrade process?

Thanks in advance,
Ramiro
