IPv6 on PirateBox Openwrt v1.0.0

Greetings,
I have successfully configured PirateBox on a TP-Link TL-MR3020 v1, but have having problems configuring IPv6.
ifconfig shows the fe80:: link local address, but various configurations of /opt/piratebox/conf/ipv6.conf have proven unsuccessful. The lines configured are:
IPV6_ENABLE="yes"
IPV6_ADVERT="dnsmasq"
IPV6_IP=":1"
IPV6_MASK="64"
IPV6_PREFIX="2001:db8"

I read where dnsmasq was preferable to radvd for RA's. My goal is to have PirateBox issue RA's for slaac at demo locations for IPv6 Presentations. Suggestions?
