HELP!: can't cd /mnt/usb

Any help is appreciated. Trying to get PB up and running for a few days now. Using MR3020.

For some reason I get the message "-ash: cd: can't cd to /mnt/usb".
Using a Kingston Datatraveler 8GB DTI, not new though. Since I can't mount usb, I can't install PB. Is it a problem with the USB itself? That is my last thought on what could be wrong.
