Hi everyone,
I watched that topic a while now. But beside some beginner questions (when and why does putty terminate), I will to add a few informations:

1. Auto installation does restart if the file "auto_package" done is available. After the first run installation (or failed installation) the file gets renamed to "auto_package_done". This is important to know about the auto installations.
2. Problems with auto installations should be possible to identify with posting the install.log
3. I don't see a reason, that adding a "gateway" config will fix that.
4. It seems hard to identify if the PirateBox installation worked or not. The easiest way to figure it out is the following line

ls /opt/piratebox
ls /etc/init.d/piratebox

--> error: messages? Post install.log

What suggest, is that the first inital flash doesn't work like expected and after the 2nd flash everything is working.

Thank you evan and Dalton for working in this thread. It is hard for me to figure out the real problems between those lines and comments. Can someone please summarize the issues down to two or three single questions?
