If your IP is 192.168.178.111 and you set your Box to 192.168.2.x you should change your computer's ip to 192.168.2.x and then you should be able to gain access to your box. This may help: [github.com]

ok after reading up on this more i could not telnet b/c i already had a password set. once password is set only ssh is available. will keep trying until i get stuck or have success.
